VIDEO EDITING
Since circa 1996, I have been developing my video editing skills. From
just simple and cut and paste in Apple QuickTime to the upgrade to Adobe
Premiere 5 to my current, highly refined style with Final Cut Pro, I
have fine tuned my meticulous sensibility for various styles of editing from
fast paced music videos to storytelling trailers to the dramatic narrative
of films. For many years I was left struggling with my Mac G4 and its
128 MB video card, but in 2012, it finally died out making way for the 2010
Mac Pro with its 1 GB HD video card and some massive increases in processing
power. While my editing skills are now
devoted to my independent filmmaking and video production services as
RavensFilm
Productions, there still exist several fan editing projects of mine online. That’s
where my editing skills began and were refined putting together original
trailers and music videos for my favorite films and television series. Some
such videos have not survived online due to copyright claims on YouTube and
elsewhere, but featured here are the ones that have remained unspoiled. I
hope you will enjoy watching them as much I enjoyed making them.
