Rival Sons – “Pressure & Time ” My friends, the Chicago metal band HEMI, played a show with California hard rock band Rival Sons at the Abbey Pub in Chicago on June 15th, 2011. I knew nothing of this band before the show, but after, I couldn't wait to absorb more of their music. They have a great classic rock vibe like Led Zeppelin or The Doors, and infuse so much intense passion into their performances. This was the first video and single off their 2011 album of the same name, and that album is a breath of fresh air filled with natural rock and roll passion. Not only is the song excellent, but the video has such original editing that I can't help but admire it. It's shot very simply, but the editing takes simple footage and makes it an ingenius piece of art.. |
